Introduction
I call these pages art: they are experiments in what is possible with HTML and CSS.
Installation Art: The pages will not display the same in all browsers - in some they'll be mangled. Some of the pages are designed to be entirely visual, so on text-only or non-visual browsers they just won't work. On visual browsers that don't comply with the standards used for a particular work, the work will not show up as intended. This is not a problem! All art works change when accessed in a way different to that intended (and not always for the worse) - try paintings in dim light, music with earplugs, or a tactile sculpture with gloves on. I think the pieces are best described as installation art (though I'm not hung up on that description) - "virtual installation art" perhaps? They are "installed" in your browser-computer combination, which may or may not be the ideal situation for them.
View, and perhaps even enjoy, these for what they are - samples, diversions, play, commentary, philosophy even: or art! Go to the Galleries.
Copyright: not all of these pages carry an explicitly visible copyright notice as it would change the nature of the display. Nevertheless, I assert my moral rights to be identified as the author of these works. Just so you know!
